1) What If my destination/location isn’t listed in the booking form?

2) Do your drivers speak English?
Yes, all our drivers speak English, are vetted, trustworthy, and have years of driving experience.
3) How long is the ride from the airport to Lake Atitlan?
If you’re traveling to Panajachel, Santa Catarina, or San Antonio, the average duration is 3:30. For travel to Santiago, San Lucas, San Juan, San Pedro or San Marcos it generally takes around 4:30.
4) What about bathroom breaks?
Your driver will stop anytime you need to and as many times as necessary.
5) Where do I meet my driver?
If you’re just arriving, your driver will be waiting for you with a sign at the only cafe there is when you exit the airport, Cafe Bareto. He/She will also be in contact with you via WhatsApp. If you’re traveling to the airport, you can arrange to meet your driver wherever you are.
6) What about local protests, robberies and staying safe?
Our drivers are trained to put your safety first. They drive with a degree of calm and caution that minimizes risk. They know the roads and potential threats. They take every precaution to make your journey as safe as possible.
7) What about ferry boats?
The best way to get from one town to another on Lake Atitlan is to take a ferry. This is why we highly recommend that you first travel to Panajachel. Not only is it the cheapest and shortest drive, but it gives you access to every town on the lake by ferry. You can arrange a private ferry boat with a captain we recommend here.
