FAQ’s
1) What If my destination/location isn’t listed in the booking form?
Please choose the town closest to your drop off or pick up location, and let the captain know during your ride. Also you can download our app, Ripple! If you download the app you can choose any destination! Note that if your destination is different from the one you book there may be a difference in the actual price from the estimated price.
2) Do your captains speak English?
Not all of our captains speak English, but when you book through our website, or the app, the captain will know where you are going! They are also very helpful, and google translate works wonders.
3) What about rough weather and staying safe?
Our captains are trained to put your safety first. They drive with a degree of calm and caution that minimizes risk. They know the lake and potential threats. They take every precaution to make your journey as safe as possible.
4) How Do I Pay?
We don’t require any reservation deposit to make a booking. After your journey and you arrive safely at your destination, you can make payment in USD or Quetzales directly to your captain.
5) What happens after I book?
After you book, your captain will get in touch with you via whatsapp or email to confirm your booking, so be sure to add your correct contact information in the booking form.
6) Cancellations
If you do decide to cancel please let your captain know beforehand. While you can technically cancel at any time, the more notice you can give your captain the more he/she will appreciate it. Thank you!
