The Atitlan Captains app is an app for ferry captains in Lake Atitlan.
When logging in to the Atitlan Captains app, you can provide a username and an email. The email is not shared with anyone using the app, and is only used if you forget your password of if we, the app developers, need to send you an email. Your email is not shared with potential customers or any third parties. Your username can be displayed to potential customers once you accept an order, but is not shared with any third parties.
You can also log in with google.
If you want us to delete your user and all the information you have stored with us, please send an email to privacy@atitlanliving.com. We routinely delete old data, including user information for users not logged in in the recent two years. You can also request that some of your data is deleted, by using the same email, privacy@atitlanliving.com.
The app requests permission to access your location. This location is shared with the customer if you accept a ride. If you set yourself as Available to accept rides, we also place a Boat image on the map for potential customers searching for a ferry. The goal with this is to make sure potential customers know we have ferries ready to go. Your location is not shared with any third parties.
